Jaime Garvey of Fort Smith, AR is new to the Degen Scholarship program. This hard-working young woman is a massage therapist, yoga therapist, and pet groomer and wants to become a nurse. She is working towards her BSN degree at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith with plans to work in the ICU for a couple of years and then move to Oncology or Hospice Nursing. She hopes to eventually get an Advanced Nurse Practitioner degree and implement holistic nursing into family practice.
